The AMA Inspiration Award

The American Medical Association Women Physicians Section (WPS) wants to acknowledge the physicians who have contributed to your success. These individuals may have steered you into the specialty you love, helped you find work/life balance, guided you through your professional society or served as an important role model.

The AMA-WPS Inspiration Award honors individuals who have a made a difference in your professional life.

Recipients will be:

Issued a special certificate
Celebrated during Women in Medicine Month in September
Acknowledged on the AMA website.

Please take a moment today to show your appreciation. Nominators must be members of the AMA. Nominations are due July 31.

You must be an AMA-WPS member to submit a nomination. Female members of the AMA are automatically enrolled in the AMA-WPS.

PHYSICIAN NOMINEE INFORMATION

The following person should be recognized as someone who has provided important mentorship, support or inspiration. The individual will be contacted by the AMA-WPS for approval before being named in any public recognition.
